My name is Julia Pott and I am an award-winning British animator / illustrator living in Los Angeles. I graduated with an MA in animation from the Royal College of Art and my films have screened at festival worldwide including Sundance, TIFF, Annecy and SXSW.
I was a staff writer on the final two seasons of Adventure Time and am the creator and executive producer for the Peabody, Emmy and three time GLAAD nominated series Summer Camp Island on HBO MAX. I was named one of the 10 Animators to Watch by Variety Magazine, 25 new faces of film by Filmmaker Magazine + am an ADC Young Gun.
Clients include Channel 4, Annapurna, Toyota, Oreo, J. Crew, Hermes, Madewell, Rachel Antonoff, MTV, Bat for Lashes + Glamour,
I am currently in development on a live action puppet preschool show called Paul the Bear with Raviv Ullman and The Jim Henson Company.
Moving forward I would like to work with socially-conscious companies and companies focused on sustainability. I am interested in writing and illustrating children’s books, and am deeply keen to have my work turned into a knitting pattern.
